What is meant by the love of living? Is it coincidental to an individual’s love for life? Can it be that it is not just about the life that is surrounding you but about you embracing your living with the same intensity with which it engulfs you? Maybe it is about living without regrets, maybe it is very tangible, this love; very attainable, not too far from reach. For some the love of living is synonymous to doing well in school, pursuing a great career or following a lively passion. For some it seems to dwindle between a distinct definition and a vague imagination.
Life changes. It changes rapidly and drastically and quietly and permanently. It changes with the last autumn leaf falling or the river changing its track.
Sometimes the love of living becomes clustered with foggy mornings, sleepless nightmare streaked nights and endless beginnings. And it becomes a set of intangible emotions and left over memories. Cluttered and suffocated. That’s when perhaps the love is gone. And living becomes so lifeless, so pretentious."
I doodle. I write. I read voraciously. This is my personal gallery space with 1 follower and less than 5 views a month, just the way I like it. All photos, writing and art are mine.

Old Notes: 2 What Life Gives You
"Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 12:43am"
you know what life gives you?
life gives you a bunch of crap...
life gives you arthiritis, meningitis, anaemia and cancer
then life gives you rain. it also gives you slushy muddy slippery snow and then life gives a sudden explosion of a lotion bottle in your back pack.
life gives you cold coffee, bad breath and miserable hair days.
life gives you amputations, death of a loved one and cheating partners.
life also gives you a tough time at physics lab, unwanted pregnancies and dropping out of college to work as a waitress till you are 45. life doesnt think before it gives you AIDS.
life gives you pain, hunger, natural disasters and a fat fucking ass
so y do we keep on keepiing on?
because life also gives you incomprehensible passion, unimaginable happines and innumerable boundless pleasures.....
guess i should start countiing my blessings right about...NOW"

Old Notes: 3 Why Do We Try?
"Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 12:49pm"
Anais Nin:
Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.
Samuel Johnson:
The natural flights of the human mind are not from pleasure to pleasure but from hope to hope.
What is it that attracts a human being towards love?
All of us has atleast once in life, been hurt by another person in the name of love. It is of common knowledge. Love usually hurts. There is not easy way out from it, out of it, towards it, around it. Love hurts.
Then why do we keep doing this to ourselves?
Why do we let our cardinal instincts take over and let it ruin our peace of mind?
Stranger still, why do we get back into it when once we've already been burnt?
What's the catch?
Is it hope? Does hope of companionship, recognition or simple entertainment rule over our logical senses of staying away from trouble?
So many a times we give and we give and we forget to notice what we received. But sometimes, you give so much of your life up for love that one day when the love is tossed out the window, you stand back and you realise, you're alone.
Anyway....i've made my mistakes and let's just say i do not want to make anymore..........i am single and not interested."
